Consistently demonstrates effective work behaviors that exceed expectations without instructor direction or prompting.
Satisfactory
Demonstrates effective work behaviors that meet expectations with some instructor direction or prompting.
Needs Improvement
Does not meet expected work behaviors. Inconsistent behavior is demonstrated even with instructor direction and prompting.
Prompt, Prepared and Reliable:
  • Has consistently good attendance
  • Is prepared and ready to work when class begins.
  • Brings necessary materials to class.
     
Positive, Cooperative and Self-Disciplined:
  • Exhibits a positive attitude.
  • Carefully follows oral and written directions.
  • Actively participates and communicates well in class discussions and group work.
  • Demonstrates appropriate behaviors with others.
     
Thorough, Complete and Responsible:
  • Finishes assignments and projects on time.
  • Works well without supervision.
  • Gives best effort to tasks and projects.
  • Produces neat work.
     
Independent, Self-Motivated and Creative:
  • Uses time well.
  • Seeks help when needed.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and interest.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge.
  • Assumes leadership responsibilities.
     
Content Knowledge: This rating scale indicates a student's overall level of academic mastery of classroom content. Students are able to manipulate and apply content knowledge in deep and meaningful ways. Students have mastered concepts and skills, but may not be able to manipulate that information in complex ways. Students have not yet demonstrated mastery of concepts and skills in this content area.
